Animal Science, Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, University of Arkansas

It’s a simple equation: an interest in animals
plus an aptitude in science equals an animal science major at the University of
Arkansas. You don’t need a background in agriculture
to be comfortable with animal science. We all come from different backgrounds.
With a degree from the UA’s nationally ranked animal science program, you’ll be
prepared for great jobs. When I first started here, it seemed big and
intimidating. But I soon felt right at home. We are a close-knit group.
Our professors are highly qualified, great teachers, and caring advisors. They will
make your classes interesting and provide lots of hands on experiences.
You will have a faculty mentor to help you get past the rough spots that we all run into
as students. They will even help you get a job after you
graduate. There is much more we could tell you, like
the great facilities we have. In fact, spend some time on our website.
Get to know us and call for a visit.
