Mary-Anne! Phew! Hey y’all!! It’s me, Youss!! Welcome back to our channel! Porter Tanaka Factory is a cooking, diy, gardening and home renovation channel. Today, we will show you how to make Hash Brown Casserole! It’ll be perfect fit for your Christmas dinner, or it could be the one of your breakfast menu. Basically, you are just mixing shredded potatoes with cheese , and it’s a very easy recipe Even if you are not good at cooking, you should definitely try this for yourself and your family! Let’s begin! This time, we will make hash brown cans for 4 or 5 people. Prepare four potatoes and let’s start peeling. Please be careful not to cut your hands. When the peel is finished, shred the potatoes with a box grader. If you have cooking utensils such as a food processor in your house, you can use it to make potatoes finer and cook much more easily. I hate exercising, but this time I thought I was exercising and I finished 4 potatoes in a manual way! Then soak in water and wash away the starch. Repeat the washing with cold water about 3 times. This time, take the damp potatoes with water. It is easy to squeeze it in a cloth for cooking. Well, here we will squeeze the big potato ball with the power of the arm. My arms are a little numb. It doesn’t have to be completely dry, but let’s drain as much as possible! Next is onion. For this time, you can use a small onion. Finely chop one whole piece. Next, block-shaped cheddar cheese. Shred it with a grader. Have you noticed? ! This cheese is a special cheddar cheese sold by my favorite chain restaurant, “Cracker Barrel”! Now, add half of the Campbells cream chicken soup to the potatoes you prepared earlier. It doesn’t have to be Campbell’s. It’s okay to use some other brands. Any creamy soup cans will go well with potatoes. Then add 8oz of sour cream. Let’s add the chopped onions. And here also put the cheese that has already been prepared. add salt and pepper as you like. There are plenty of ingredients in this ball and it is quite heavy, Mix evenly. Well, after this, I will bake in the oven, Prepare a baking dish and spread a pat of butter. Then, add the ingredients that you just mixed from the top, and flatten the surface with a spatula. I haven’t done it yet! Put it at the end for a while. Crush plain corn plank with no taste by hand. It is okay to some extent without breaking it so fine. Add about 4 tbsp melted butter and stir. Spread corn flakes on top of the ingredients. Sprinkle pepper again and bake in the oven! Bake at about 350F for about an hour. Now, 1 hour has passed. Ah! Good color! Looks delicious!!! So we made it! It was a bit hard for me to shred many ingredients, using my hands. I would definitely recommend you to use a food processor if you have one. It smells so good. Itadakimasu! Let’s dig in! Wow! On top, so golden brown! Inside, looks so creamy!! so good! It’s always such a great combination when you taste potatoes and cheese together. These corn flakes on top are so Crispy, but you’ll experience the soft texture of potatoes inside. It’s so simple recipe and give it a try! Thanks for watching our video today! Oh man, I love your channel — it's so cute. I can't remember where I found out about it, I think on… reddit? But I've followed y'all for awhile and really enjoy your videos. As a gay guy who grew up in the South and loves to cook, it's cool to see the similarities (and differences!) in recipes. And as someone who has been trying to learn Japanese on and off for awhile, it's really helpful to hear you speak it while doing everything because it helps provide context to words/usage. Keep up the great work!
